Hello everyone!
I want to continue the traditional fanart series of eeveelutions with Vaporeon, who is behaving very cat-like in this image, trying to quench its thirst by drinking directly from the faucet... well, kind of.
It's a silly image my partner Snoops and I had in mind of Vaporeon sipping as if it actually was drinking but instead the water is running along its forehead instead of being even remotely close to its mouth like some silly cats on the internet. I loved working on this piece, especially drawing the head-empty expression, cute snout, adding these detailed scales across its body and trying my best making the water look somewhat realistic or at least believable. I had a few struggles with the water tap, but I think I managed well enough. I'm super happy how this drawing turned out and enjoy the colour scheme with blues and purples especially. What do you think of this drawing? Should Vaporeon rather drink from a bowl instead next time? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I love when cats do this lmao it's so funny, and seeing a vaporeon do it is even funnier! You absolutely nailed the goofiness of this and its expression lol. No thoughts, head empty. c':
I'm always in such awe of your traditional works! Coloured pencils can be so difficult to get certain effects compared to digital but you nail it every time! :O The transparency of the water and the texture of the scales caught my eye first, but what really impressed me was the reflection of vaporeon's body in the water spout you managed to do! It's a detail I feel like a lot of people wouldn't necessarily think to add for a 'joke' image like this, but it's a wonderful touch! That must've taken some effort, but you matched the warp/angle of it very nicely!
I like the purple background to add a little extra pop of colour to this as well! Very pretty! <3
