I think this character comes from some post-apocalyptic wild west universe, populated by creatures of all sorts. This guy is very inspired by the very cool characters from Oddworld. I originally wanted to give him a big worn-out cowboy had and some kind of poncho, but ended up liking how his ears and skin-spots came out too much to cover em up. I'll probably draw more of him soon..
