A few months back I played Dungeons and Dragons for the first time (technically an offshoot called Humblewood under the same ruleset but still) and it was genuinely some of the most fun I've had in ages.

Upon entering adulthood, Thomas rejects his life as a noble to travel the world and seek new experiences, armed with only his wallet and vast knowledge of alchemic concoctions. A naive lad, he is quick to jump into situations without thinking, the thrill of experiencing "the real world" superseding any supposed dangers.

Not that he's bad in a fight, mind you. Armed to the teeth with tankards of poison and corrosives and a small boltgun, he's capable of turning the tides of fights alongside his mightier travelling companions. (And don't let his demure and polite nature fool you. He can be downright bloodthirsty in a fight.)

I recently did my second session with him so I feel a redesign is in order, but until then, have this sketch of his first.
