You are deffently Crazy if you 8 years later still try to take someone down by spreading rumours and ruin someones reputation just so they can feel good about themself. (Yerh im not talking about you but the person who does this)

Nope, no anti-stalking laws. And it's not the police's concern - "no body - no case". The most you can do is to accuse them of public insult, but you have to file a lawsuit, hire layers and prove it to the court on your own, and the trial can last for years. And the penalty for this is 30-100$ at most ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
