I attempted to explain the Great American Dream to this creature that I could only perceive as being some sort of freakish, iron-clad robot. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts to reason with him, he remained stalwart to his claim that the medicine I carried around with me was, in fact, the reason for the wrongness in the world. Must have been those glasses. Never trusted a man or drug that I couldn't look in the eye.
