Sweetie Belle carefully levitated more charcoal into hearth and positioned on the already burning fire. The filly smiled as the new fuel ignited. The unicorn didn't know why but a crackling fire always made her happy.

Scootaloo watched as the distillates collected. The fillies had experienced some leakage at first but they seemed to have conquered that issue. The pegasus glanced over at Applebloom who staring at a notebook with scowl on her face.

"How are doing with translating your Granny's notes coming?"

The earth pony grumbled. "Sun and Moon! My Granny's writing is the worst I've ever set eyes on, and why do I always get stuck with reading these here manuals and tryin' ta figger them out!?"

"No." The other two fillies said in unison.

Scootaloo rubbed her chin with a front hoof. "Um, girls I just realized something. How are we going to move all of this to school to present as our science project?"

Applebloom removed the pencil from her mouth. "Well I figgered we wouldn't lug this here whole contraption ta school. Instead we'd take a whole heap of pictures and bring r' notes along with a couple jugs of the finished stuff ta class as proof, and so everypony could have a swig of it. That should be good enough fer Miss Cheerilee."

Applebloom's friends nodded their heads in agreement.

This is one of the drawing I started during my recent Picarto stream. The was Noir/Hard-Boiled themed stream, and one thing I always associate to this period is the Prohibition Era and the smuggling and making of Bootleg liquor.
