A watercolor painting I made responding to a 'Warrior of Light question of the day" (or #wolqotd for short) post I saw on bsky! The post basically asked what went into the process of creating your Final Fantasy XIV Warrior of Light OCs or OCs you've made who aren't WoLs!
I may have talked about it before but one of my favorite aspects of character creation with this game is attributing different character looks I've made to different sections of the story and side content.
Basically whenever I make a new look to fantasia into, I make that look a specific character with their own backstories and lore. Of course this is all fanon as the story attributes all your accomplishments as the warrior of light to you no matter what your character looks like.
My old male miqote Palisade (or Pallas now) was my main character from the start of my Journey to the end of Endwalker. Here I depicted his fight versus the Endsinger.
My lalafell Gogora took on the Void quests from 6.1 to 6.5 deciding to stay behind with Zero and Golbez to help out in the 13th
and my Hrothgal/Xbr'aal Ty'at takes on the Dawntrail storyline. I also decided to make her the mc of the Warring Triad and Eureka questline so that she and Krile have a stronger connection, making her Krile's recommendation in helping Wuk Lamat in the Rite of Succession. "Ever reliable that Ty'at" ~ Krile (probably lol)
Done with watercolor and colored pencil for the lineart (except for the inkpen text at the bottom lol)
