Barbara the Hedgecat

Weapons: Two swords. One gold and one silver. They also have scriptures from the Bible written on them. The swords are called, "Heavenly Blades".

Emerald: Gold with a silver cross on it. The name of it is called, "Angelic Emerald".

Abilities: Spiritual Force Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Smoke Manipulation and Plasma Manipulation.

Gear: A cybernetic respiratory system and a gold and emerald green robotic/nanotech suit called, "Priest".

Barbara the Hedgecat. J.C. the Hybrid's former mother. She works on cybernetics, and she also worked as a cook and a nurse. She’s real caring and cares for her family. Not much is said about her past. She used to be a talented skier and a great bowler until she retired due to issues with her respiratory system. Barbara used to be a smoker for a few years which is part of the reason why she has issues breathing until she quit and eventually became a nurse. Barbara took a part time job as a waitress to help make some money for medical school until she met John the Hedgebat. Eventually, they got married and had J.C., their son. Then, one day, G.U.N. offered her a job to help create robotics for humans and mobians. She and John made a promise to help people, so when G.U.N. gave them the offer, how could she say no. Barbara formed a parentship with Dr. Ivo Robotnik who is later called Dr. Eggman in creating cybernetics for humans and mobians who lost their limbs in wars and accidents. Eventually, Barbara and John formed their own business in selling robotic implants. One day, she got a phone call from P.K. and Murray, saying that J.C. was in a coma due to saving kids from a burning church. She was heartbroken from this shocking news and promised to find a way to save her son. Then, one night out of the blue, she and John got a message from Ivo Robotnik. He tells them that he’s working on an invention for G.U.N. and saying that it might help save J.C.’s life. Eventually, John agreed to the offer, but Barbara thought otherwise. She told him that after J.C.’s accident, she’s been overwhelmed with stress as well as creating cybernetics for humans and mobians until she said to him was that maybe they should go their separate ways for a while. The following day, Barbara left a note along with her wedding ring at John’s lab, hoping their son will return and disappeared, taking her daughter, Sabrina the Cat and her mother Barbara Ann the Cat with her. Last she heard, there was a lab explosion that John’s arm and Eggman lost his job. Barbara also found out that John remarried to Kim the Wolf, although she told herself that as long as former husband is happy, she’s happy. One day, she found out that John and Kim found the “Angelic Emerald” and the “Heavenly Emerald” in a cave as well as the “Light Crystal” and “Lightning Crystal” which they gave to J.C. as a gift. Curious, she snuck into the house one night with Sabrina and Barbara Ann, hoping to find out what they can about the Emeralds. Barbara could’ve taken them then and there, but she decided that it wasn’t worth losing her former son and left, saying it was not her problem. Surprisingly, Barbara gained new abilities from the emeralds. There was Spiritual Force Manipulation which she uses as a sixth sense with spiritual energy and phase through physical matter, then there’s Ice Manipulation which she uses for both offense and defense during battles, Smoke Manipulation which she uses for teleportation, healing and stealth attack even though she finds the ability ironic due to the fact that she quit smoking and Plasma Manipulation which is mostly used for defensive purposes and sometimes to make repairs and help her family when there’s trouble. Barbara still creates robotic implants for humans and mobians, but she still believes her son J.C. will do great things for the people of Mobius. Barbara later gained a cybernetic respiratory system to help manifest her breathing. She also made a gold and emerald green robotic suit which she nicknamed “Priest” that was made from nanotechnology Kim and John created a day before J.C. awoke from his coma. After hearing about Eggman trying to conquer Mobius with a large army of robots, Barbara feared that Eggman would want revenge on her former family, so she came up with a plan. Barbara told Sabrina and Barbara Ann about what Dr. Eggman was planning, and they decided to help the people of Mobius in secret as well as fighting back against the Eggman Empire. Barbara is still hiding from John and her former family members, saying she would rather go her own way then break their hearts again. Some mobians called them “The Elemental Cats”.
