MY CHERISHED RIVALThis is the hour,
when our war ends not in triumph,
but in absence.
The sky forgets your flowers,
the earth forgets my frost.
Global stillness claims us both.
So tell me—
as we vanish into the warmth that never cools,
will you stand with me?
One last time,
my cherished rival.Global warming has become too visible to ignore. The changes are happening all around us, and they are impossible to deny. Our world is changing for the worse, in ways that are painful and heartbreaking to witness. What we once knew as seasons—the rhythm of Winter and Spring—are no longer predictable. As these changes unfold, it feels as if everything is slipping away, irreparably altered. This artwork, for me, is a form of therapy, a way to process the grief of watching our planet slowly unravel. Despite the overwhelming sense that we cannot undo the damage done, I still believe there are those who see it, who feel it, and who understand the weight of what we are losing.
thank you for your attention,
Your lazy sloth

There are not enough words to answer as I would like, but it is true, the next generations will not know that winter, that spring, summer, autumn, it all changes, and very quickly.
We can talk about this topic for hours, but I will just say that I am very happy that my Art, and poem were understood exactly as I intended it.
Thank you, thank you very much for such words! <3
