Some wild things have been happening in our little RP...

Recently, Bogclan's Deputy, Mangrovetwist, scented mongrels and heard the sounds of a possible kit near the borders of Gladeclan's abandoned territory. She took a patrol of cats to investigate, where they found that the mongrels were long gone, but discovered the tattered remains of a she-cat's corpse. Not a cat from any of the three exterminated clans, but a rogue.

Being near the territory he was originally supposed to become leader of brought up a lot of bad memories for Bigfoot, especially with his apprentice, Sweetpaw (Gladeclan's leader's daughter, who should have grown up there), on patrol with them. The fact that Moltenstrike, the former Deputy of Ravineclan (who exterminated Glade in the wars) was part of this patrol only put him more on edge. As soon as the big tom crossed the territory lines to head deeper into Gladeclan's 'territory', Bigfoot lost it and began hissing and spitting, forcing Moltenstrike back and away from the body, screaming for him not to touch her.

Mangrovetwist was forced to step in and bring Bigfoot back to his senses, instructing him and Sweetpaw to stay behind and prepare the rogue's burial (which he had started to plan before his crash-out) while she and the other warriors headed deeper in to follow the sounds of the kit (who was miraculously still alive). Bigfoot (numbly) agreed, but as the patrol departed, he realized a terrified Sweetpaw had run off back towards Bogclan's side of the border...

He's full of regret and leftover panic right now... We'll see if he'll be able to patch things up with Sweetpaw and Mangrovetwist after the patrol is over... Mangrovetwist at least seemed to realize there was more to his actions than mere clan rivalry towards Moltenstrike...

I'm SUPER proud of this piece (TuT) <3 <3 <3 Seriously I worked so hard on it for so long lol, and I love how the lighting and his expression came out! Unironically the best tears/saliva I've ever drawn lmao

Unfortunately I didn't have room to fit the mauled body in the background, so you just get some bloody fur scraps from the trail they followed lol
