(Had to remake this from scratch since the laptop needs to be looked at, but at least it's an excuse to start making something more definitive.)
This is an early and rough design of the field for the sport unique to Dravers, the joust. I still need to figure out the rules of the game and how scoring works and such so some things might still be changed.
I figure the game would be something like a tower/lane defence game and capture the flag.
This would be more or less the starting positions of the players, 7 players on each team with two attackers, two defenders and the team captain with two flankers. The captaon is standing on a dirt mound to give a better view of the playing field and decide the strategy during the round. the forward attackers can only use the outside charges at the start of the match, the defenders can use the outer and center charges while the captain can move freely to any of them. The flankers move with the captain unless they have been directed to move along the flanks to support their attackers. the flankers can move in and out of the outer and inner field while the inner field players are not allowed to move into the outer field.
One objective of the game is to get to the opposing team's "castle" and knock a ball off it's base plate, and then try to get the ball all the way back to their own castle (using their shield or magnetic lance to carry the ball back) the round (called a bout) ends when either both balls are in one team's castle, or after a certain amount of time. [need to decide how many bouts per game and the ways points are scored] protective gear has sensors to detect a hit from a lance, throwing the lance is allowed but usually only done by the flankers or defenders. Deliberately aiming for the legs is a foul and gets a penalty, a smaller penalty if it is by accident. a mesh "skirt" is worn to prevent tripping. Disarming the opponent by jousting on the charge is a way to score some points or temporarily remove that player from the field. A disarm is counted when either or both players drop their lance on impact on a charge giving one team a temporary advantage in numbers and could leave their flanks vulnerable if both flankers are called into the field to replace the lost attackers, though the flankers are allowed to move back into the green at any time. The ball has to be taken back to the castle via one of the charges and cannot pass into the green.
The flankers are the best throwers on the team and preferably also the fastest runners since they have to lend support anywhere on the field as needed and avoid scoring a foul when they throw their lance. Flankers also cannot move into the castle normally to capture the ball but they can attempt to hit it with a throw if they have an opportunity. If they miss however it will count as a disarm and the flanker has to move back to their side of the green and stay there for a minute or two before they are allowed back in play. So throwing a lance at the castle is a risky play but might be worth the risk for the extra points in the long run.
(and that is it so far, I still have a lot to iron out with this.)
made by me and Dravers belong to me as well.

Struggling though to find a way to flesh this out and make it a proper believable fictional sport, it's a bit more complicated than Chakker so I'm not sure where to go with this at the moment >.>
At least I think I got a decent enough base to build on with this, judging by response thus far.
