Will move to scraps later, but just wanted to show a little something I'm working on. Trying to figure out if I like the crane's wing up or down. I like it up because I love the lines it makes, and the silhouette is nice. But I'm wondering if it detracts too much attention from the woman and looks unbalanced.

I also am having a hard time with the woman's clothes. I want something minimal, but also modest (as in, covering her up and not really accentuating anything). I definitely want her shoulders uncovered.

Also, the woman was partially inspired by images of Himba women, and I like the way they wrap their hair. I was thinking of maybe putting a few dreads/braids/wraps towards the front, like where the curls around her ears are.

Any thoughts?
