Lil art based on TheInfamousDoctorF's SAMS AU fic "Eclipse Meets His Match.".
Just a lil love for how Doc uses elements in the mindscapes so well. Lots of symbolism and psychology in play.
I wanted to create a fusion of two elements that are kept related between the mindscape and the wake world, for Firefly in particular. Aka Eclipse V1 reborn.
The safety blanket quilt he always need to have close for comfort, and how it becomes a pair of large wings in the mindscape to wrap himself in as well.
