I chose Care Bears because it seems like a show Shelley would've grown up with. Think about it. She was 12 when South Park premiered in August of 1997, and her canon birthday is November 24. As such, assuming the characters aged normally prior to the show's premiere (not counting the unaired pilot and the two Spirit of Christmas shorts that led to the show), and Shelley turned 12 in November 1996, she would've been born in 1984 and would have grown up with 80s cartoons, perhaps including Care Bears. Maybe she's watching an old videotape.
With a father like Randy and the world of South Park being as crazy as it is, it's safe to assume this isn't the craziest thing Stan has ever seen. Regardless, he still wants to make sense of it.
You can tell Shelley exploring her little side is slowly, key word: slowly, reducing her desire to beat Stan up.
That's all for now. Stay tuned for another page of Demigod Daycare.
South Park characters belong to Comedy Central and Paramount.

Stan is aware that Shelley will pummel him if she finds out he told someone. However, he's also too shaken up by this to keep it to himself- he wants to get it off his chest, basically. He figures he's fine as long as Shelley doesn't know he told anyone and doesn't immediately realize how disrespectful it is even without the threat of being beat up.
