Bandits had always been a blight in the land of the Roeu as far as memory served. No matter how many were killed, arrested or otherwise stopped, it always seemed as if more appeared out of thin air a few days later, coming down from the Savage Mounts or forests surronding the land. Back from a successful raid against one such encampement, Mathilde de Roeu took a moment to rest at the entrance of the family's palace. It wasn't her domain yet, but she still fought tooth and nails in her father's name. Would it become any easier once he passed her the throne?
