What's a pain about it? Just the look and feel, or...?
Mind you, I'm not defending MS Office 2010 or anything, as I've never used it.
For .txt writing I use q10 xD
Matter of preference I suppose. Copy/pasting from whatever you do use to a notepad seems to work just fine for most people. :T

SO I should format my word docs to txt files you reckon?
I'll try that next time.
But it seems like its impossible to get ANY critique on a piece. I post it, some fave it, which is great and all, but I would like to know what made this story good? Why fave this over my other story? Why was this one better?

I've always admired your ability to pump out stories at an alarming rate anyway, kudos to you, my fuzzy friend.

There's actually a group here on FA, that you can link on your profile and the submission descriptions to pull a little more attention to the request for feedback.

They currently dun got any rights to keep the icon soley for the 'sticker' effect, that people can Icon-Link it while they got no content posted up, but I figured that it will return eventually and if you give it a link it will showcase the name anyway so that people might be a bit more driven to give some words. :)

You Sir are an inspiration... nothing short of it.
I am no artist in any way and I barely ever wrote more than essential stuff, but seeing how you disected and openly put up the process to a small-minded noob like me, it really shows to me "Yes, I COULD do something with these fingers of mine, other than picking my nose and typing in admiring messages here on FA."
.... let's ignore the nose thing, okay?

Thanks Jeeves, I've just barely started my attempt/trek to being a writer (fore' my art skills don't even touch dry land) But I've only wrote like one story saying it was all bad, I should quit etc; Yet this gave me inspiration, now maybe to go back and try to write more. I'll keep this minimized or somewhere when I start writing to keep myself up :)
