Erm, yeah, two bandmates of Musicpsycho, my fantasy metal band, Marijke (my pyrokinetic white-cheetress) and Blade (my goth-boy umbreonmorph).
And here we go: In full colour with effects and shading and stuff - choices here are intentional, such as his being intensely shaded whilst she barely is. (You know, 'cause the contrast of an umbreon and white-cheetress wasn't enough already, haha!)
Erm... not meant to be some kind of Demon/Angel type pic, though.. 'cause Marijke's no angel (though not quite as bad as Blade).
The fire is just there to be a... frame... make a point or emphasize the image.. not meant to be the actual light source, as they ARE supposed to be at a night club or disco - not that these two couldn't take the heat, but... their audience probably wouldn't find it so pleasant. As said, intentional.
In-character/in-story: Despite how bad it's actually supposed to look (and I hope it does), I'll say that after the 'date', Blade did bring Marijke safely back home and bad her 'goodnight' without so much as a farewell kiss or grope. He didn't even ask. He was the proper gentleman.
It was a "I just dumped my girlfriend after a big fight, so now I'm going to go out and have a GREAT time celebrating and it would please me even more if you'd join me." (for Marijke is actually one of his best friends, and one of the few women whom he believes can actually dance on his level), not a "You're hot, I'm single, and as fair as I'm concerned, you're fair game now!" type thing. Blade is still trying to deny that he has any serious feelings for her.
(Not that Blade ISN'T 'that kind of perv', just that Marijke, herself, actually means more to him than that.)
Of course it's all redundant, as, later on, Taiyo does end up dumping Marijke ('cause they just don't actually work out that well), so.. Blade does end up getting his fallen angel eventually.
