
I got this idea for a game where you play a this woman here and shes stranded in a mansion during a snow storm and she finds out that there's some kind of monster in the mansion that she has no chance of killing so all she can do is hide. I might try and do some sketches showing what i think the game might look like.

Her outside world will look all interesting and fresh and cute and celshaded,
and after she gets in the mansion, everything EXCEPT for her will be realistic, dark and gritty.
And she'll have a torch and she has to get items from different areas of the mansion, each with more scary and scarier guardians and hideous deathly contraptions.
oh, and did I mention the deaths will be ultra-gorey/disturbing?

Im kinda leaning toward "The less you see the better", relying more on sounds to build up a sense of dread in the player. I was inspired by this actually.

the only differences would be that when your hideing you arnt able to see the monster, you just hear its foots steps and your own heart beat
