Scar:
"Excellent work, Rafiki. I knew I could rely on you."

Rafiki:
"This wasn’t supposed to happen!"

Scar:
"Oh yes, it was. Just like we always planned."

Rafiki:
"No, Scar. Something's gone horribly wrong here. But don't worry. I'll undo this right now, and then…"

Without any warning, Scar suddenly sends two powerful blows of his paw towards Rafiki. They narrowly miss him, scratching his paintings instead. Rafiki freezes in shock.

Scar:
"You dare contradict me!? Don't even think about resisting, or you'll be the next to die! And by the way: I am your KING and you are my subservient. You do as I say, or you'll share the fate of Kubwa and Malka. Have I made myself clear enough?"

Rafiki:
"Y... Y... Yes, my king…"

Scar:
"Good. I'll come back tomorrow, and then we'll do the same thing with Zira and Nuka. Don't get any stupid ideas, or I'll cut YOU in half instead of your scribbles."

Scar jumps out of Rafiki's tree and walks away with a loud, evil laugh.

Rafiki:
"My gosh, Mufasa... What have I done...? How could this happen to me...?"

While traveling through time Simba and my OC Bahati stranded in an alternate timeline where BOTH Mufasa and young Simba fell victim to Scar’s and Zira’s evil plan to take over the Pride Lands. Their plan succeeded and the disaster began. After introducing their son Nuka to the pride they and their followers started to wipe out all rival’s cubs, starting with Simba's female friend my OC Kubwa and his childhood-friend Malka. But things were about to get much, much worse. Scar knew Rafiki was researching the supernatural powers of my OC Kiburi, so he ordered him to find a way to make him able to share them. Rafiki saw his chance to end Scar's reign quickly and under the pretext of wanting to carry out a test he lured him into his tree. There he gave him a potion, hoping it would all come to an end now. But as you can see in the picture something went horribly wrong. The potion turned Scar's body into a much healthier form and made him grow to the size of an elephant. Now the Pride Lands had literally a much larger problem to handle.

Simba and Bahati had witnessed nothing of all this. 27 years later, when they stepped back into time, they found the Pride Lands destroyed and completely lifeless, like in the movie but much worse. My OC Kiburi was the very last soul still living there. When they found him inside Pride Rock’s Cave, he told them the whole story of what had once happened. After this Simba and Bahati decided to go back in time to prevent all these cruel events from happening.

Scar's healthier form is created by ExcelsiorForLoki. In the picture, Scar's name-giving scar is missing on purpose. It has healed during his transformation.

Scar:
„Ausgezeichnete Arbeit, Rafiki. Ich wusste, auf dich ist Verlass.“

Rafiki:
„Das sollte nicht passieren!“

Scar:
„Oh doch, das sollte es. Genau, wie wir es immer geplant haben.“

Rafiki:
„Nein, Scar. Hier ist etwas fürchterlich schiefgelaufen. Aber keine Sorge. Ich werde das sofort rückgängig machen und dann..."

Ohne jede Vorwarnung führt Scar plötzlich zwei mächtige Prankenhiebe Richtung Rafiki aus. Sie verfehlen ihn nur knapp und zerkratzen stattdessen seine Malereien. Rafiki erstarrt vor Schreck.

Scar:
„Du wagst es mir zu widersprechen!? Denk' nicht einmal daran, Widerstand zu leisten oder du stirbst als Nächster! Und so ganz nebenbei: Ich bin dein KÖNIG und du bist mein Untergebener. Du tust, was ich sage oder du wirst das Schicksal von Kubwa und Malka teilen. Habe ich mich klar genug ausgedrückt?“

Rafiki:
„J... J... Ja, mein König..."

Scar:
„Gut. Ich komme morgen wieder und dann werden wir dasselbe mit Zira und Nuka tun. Komm' ja nicht auf dumme Gedanken oder ich zweiteile DICH anstatt deiner Schmierereien.“

Scar springt aus Rafikis Baum heraus und entfernt sich mit einem lauten, bösartigen Lachen.

Rafiki:
„Meine Güte, Mufasa... Was habe ich getan...? Wir konnte mir das passieren...?"

Während sie durch die Zeit reisen, stranden Simba und mein Charakter Bahati in einer alternativen Zeitlinie, in der Mufasa UND der junge Simba Scars und Ziras Plan, das geweihte Land zu erobern, zum Opfer fielen. Hier hatte deren Plan Erfolg und die Katastrophe nahm ihren Lauf. Nachdem sie ihren Sohn Nuka dem Rudel vorgestellt hatten, begannen sie, zusammen mit ihrer Gefolgschaft, die Kinder aller Rivalen zu töten, beginnend mit Simbas Freundin, meinem Charakter Kubwa, und seinem Kindheitsfreund Malka. Doch es sollte alles noch viel, viel schlimmer kommen. Scar wusste, dass Rafiki die übernatürlichen Kräfte meines Charakters Kiburi erforschte, also befahl er ihm, einen Weg zu finden, wie er sie mit anderen teilen kann. Rafiki sah seine Chance Scars Herrschaft schnell zu beenden und so lockte er ihn unter dem Vorwand einen Test durchführen zu wollen in seinen Baum. Dort gab er ihm einen Trank in der Hoffnung, dass jetzt alles enden würde. Doch wie ihr im Bild sehen könnt, lief etwas fürchterlich schief. Der Trank verwandelte Scars Körper in eine viel vitalere Form und ließ ihn auf die Größe eines Elefanten wachsen. Nun musste das geweihte Land mit einem buchstäblich noch viel größeren Problem zurechtkommen.

Simba und Bahati bekamen von alldem nichts mit. Als sie 27 Jahre später wieder in die Zeit eintraten, fanden sie das geweihte Land zerstört und völlig leblos, noch viel schlimmer als im Film, vor. Mein Charakter Kiburi war der allerletzte, der noch dort lebte. Als sie ihn in der Höhle des Königsfelsens vorfanden, erzählte er ihnen, was hier einmal passiert war. Darauf beschlossen Simba und Bahati, in die Vergangenheit zurückzureisen, um all diese grausamen Ereignisse zu verhindern.

Scars vitalere Form wurde von ExcelsiorForLoki entworfen. Scars namensgebende Narbe fehlt im Bild mit voller Absicht. Sie ist im Rahmen seiner Verwandlung geheilt.
