Dardick 1500 series, Trouble Hunter Mod
Hey everyone, this little oddity is a Dardick series 1500 rifled carbine that Snow B.A.R. Leopardcess built in secrecy. She comes equipped with a 6× level zoom scope, a modified fixed wooden stock, a rifled barrel, and a few stripper clips to feed the integrated magazine. Her barrel is outfitted to fire off .38 Special "trounds " (triangle rounds), which are rounds that are fitted into custom-made plastic casings that are triangular in shape. The Dardick series were meant to be a revolutionary firearm in it's day. By using the ammo capacity of an semi-automatic handgun with the reliability of a revolver. But the specialized "trounds" were prone to jamming and the unusual feeding system made reloading unnecessarily lengthy, which the Dardick unfortunately inherited the worst of both worlds...

Poisontoothx - There is one gun who got a name given to by the Allied soldiers during WW2. Now, you have mentioned this particular gun before. The MG42 got the nickname "Hitler's Zipper" due to its' high rate of fire and its' firing mechanism. This machine gun has a rate of fire standing at 1,200 rounds per minute and its bolt moves rolling bearings which sounds like some creature is ripping a piece of cloth. As with ALL guns, the MG42 included, the barrel will get hot until ether 1. the barrel warps or 2. jams the gun. The MG42 has the ability to replace its' barrels when they get very hot. The average amount of time needed to swap the barrels on the MG42 was 6 to 7 seconds. The US Army EVEN created training films so a soldier could detect the gun's signature sound in battle. You don't need to see but if you hear the MG42, you know that today is not going to be a nice day.
The Dardick models 1100, 1500, and 2000 series uses a stripper clip and feeds the clip into the feed tray found on the left side of the grip. Which uses a dust cover to help protect the inner workings from dirt and debris. It cycles trounds via a revolving chamber that has three chambers for cycling trounds, and discharging spent casings through an open port found on the right side of the receiver.
