I tend to agree with the folks that said these two have a history. This fight was always personal.

It just got real. Playtime is over. Now the real slugfest begins. Suzokon-kyo takes his opponent seriously now, and the gloves are off.

You could say Taran is about to have a bad time. This can only end badly - someone is going to die, but we don't know who right now, and either one winning means an even worse time for our protagonists. They need to get Roko, get the false eyestone, and get the H E Double Hockey Sticks out of Dodge now before we likely see destruction akin to Akira.

Why root for either of them? As long as they're busy with each other, Brand, Saida, and Roko don't have to worry about them.

When two of your problems are fighting each other, you're at least getting a temporary reprieve from both of them.

Even so, it’s pretty unlikely this is going to end in mutually assured destruction.

That said, regardless of whatever the outcome, even in a the improbable event of a double knockout, there’s no way that this won’t catch the attention of the other quetz, especially Vetra.

Though he was technically protected by Suzocon defense making him more trap by Suzocon than Taran at beginning now shrine defense been destroyed it safe say Brand no longer is on sideline especially now he up front and personal with two.

It's there, but it's also clearly waning, it doesn't have anything near the power signature of the first couple frames.
