I rarely get to paint such a detailed piece, so it was a fun new thing to do!! Lately trying to learn more tricks for backgrounds with the help of friends, and trying my best to don't overwork the backgrounds compared to the characters. My main struggly was always that I worked with a size 9-20 brush on the characters, making them extremely detailed, and the using size 70-100 brushes for the background. It always looked smudgey, blurred and uneven XD
As one scrolls through my gallery, it is obvious that I mostly focus on character art, not illustrations or backgrounds, even tho I want to?? I really love painting and play around with light on a character, but that's mostly possible when there is an environment for them.
