First submission in ages, I’ve sat on this cover for years now - I’ve been wanting to have someone record vocals over it but I honestly haven’t gotten around to sorting it, so rather than just leaving it growing dusty on my hard drive I decided to post it on here.
A cover I did a long time ago of “Nemo” by Nightwish, this is the song that got me into them. I cannot remember what led me to covering this song in a Killswitch Engage style, I think probably a combination of playing with amp settings and stuff I expect. Ironic cos I’m not really a fan of Killswitch haha - though I expect their brilliant cover of Holy Diver may have inspired this somewhat scrappy cover I’ve done here.
Anyway, in terms of gear used - can’t remember, I think I used either (or both) my Driftwood or Soldano amplifier and I expect my Caparison guitar. No idea on settings or anything though I’m afraid.
