I played around a bit more with my serpent. The colors are pretty difficult to mess with in how I drew it, but I think it turned out pretty deets.

The reason I was working on these is because for the longest time in school, I had this idea for a story where there was this planet of people who live on small islands. Every 10 years they would host a tournament where they race tamed sea serpents that glide over the surface of the oceans like flying fish. They build watch towers in the oceans and people keep watch for the serpent racers as they take a trip around the world. Although dangerous, the winner lives lavishly for the rest of their life- they face pirates, the dangers of the sea and sometimes even sabotage and murder when they come in contact with other racers.
