This is a commission in memory of an old Pathfinder 1e character, a half-drow alchemist (mutagenic archetype) named Timmy. set in Planescape, Timmy and his party are set off to the beastlands, the afterlife to most nature worshipers, and home to a number of nature and lunar deities. a popular tourist spot in the planes that hit a bit of trouble when people started turning into animals, with some losing their minds to endless nightmares. Turns out a nightmare lord straight from Ravenloft is trying to corrupt the realm to be able to step into the outer planes proper. while investigating Timmy not taking the threat of changing permanently into an animal seriously brewed a dino themed potion and drank it. Well it give him a speed boost like normal...Just also started growing feathers and a snout.
At some point, he ended up fully changing into a velociraptor. Sure, his hands didn't work well, he could not stand upright, and most things actively feared him, but he could still talk, he was faster, he wasn't blinded by the light anymore for being half-drow, and hey, most things can't survive a raptor's full attack.
the mod that was adapted was called "something wild" Its been adapted 5e if anyone wants to try it out.
