The Steampunk in me appreciates it when someone goes the extra mile to make something look nice. Here for example, the rolling ladders at a new supermarket near me. They could have easily used bland hardware, yet they didn't. A tasteful extra detail that I'm sure almost no one will notice.

I have one like that here! I found it in a dumpster in the south bay , and took it home to restore. the frame is all done, as are the steps(All red oak) I just have nowhere to use it ! If those are new, Im betting they took an old one to make a pattern off them. as it looks identical to the one I have which is rather old.
