Hey, I have a question about the bid. I've tried to compete in the auction by bidding higher amounts of money, but all of my bids are being automatically outbid, no matter how much money I put it.
I type in the money, and then I hit the "Outbid" button so I can have the highest amount. But when I do that, it doesn't seem to make a difference. In fact, the dollar amount next to my name seems to be exactly the same. It hasn't changed at all, somehow. But there's another hidden user, whose amount is going higher. It looks like I'm just raising the dollar amount for their bid, not mine. Is there a reason for this?
I know that it's probably against the rules to help out a specific person in a bid. I'm just trying to understand how it works.
