Red isn't your average culinary school dropout he's a Nephilim raised by the earthbound angel Azazel.
Born to a powerful demon lord and an equally powerful Seraphim, he is the greatest Taboo so to keep him safe his parents entrusted him to Azazel to raise on earth but even at a young age he proved to be a maverick, going out of his way to break rules and start fights
A gifted chef Red has the potential to be a Michelin Star chef but he can't hold down a chef position due to his inability to conform to the recipes he's presented with often wanting to make innovations and improvements to them with mixed results
His unofficial/unsanctioned guardian angel Maeve has been his taste tester for years and she loves him for it and is devoutly loyal to him
He one day finds himself at the Hazbin Hotel where the owner Charlette Morningstar hires him as the hotel's head chef in hopes of bringing in more clients to seek redemption.
His only condition was to make the menu himself and to hire Maeve as the head host and waitress.
