While the sculptor's children wanted to be loved as they loved her, the seeker and his children did not know how to love. In its place, a deep respect for each other as the seeker made his children equals, yet they can not. They regard him as their creator as he rightfully is, but more importantly, their father which both sides can not fully comprehend.
