MAN it feels really good to finally nail down a solid design for this guy...he's a minor character of mine from the Merystories (personal art/writing project) and aaah every time I'd doodle him he'd look different :T For years. I didn't really set out to draw a refsheet, I just set out to hammer out his exact look/colors while bored at work, but it turned into this. It feels good to have something more consistent to work off of now than "he looks sort of like a bony pteranodon with big glowing eyes"

A little about him: He's about 2' tall and has a very nervous, inferiority-complex type personality, and is loyal to a fault. For example, if you praised him or gave him some M&M's, he'd probably take a bullet for you. He sometimes refers to himself in the third person and tends not to be able to pronounce s's correctly, much to the annoyance of everyone around him.


i feel I should mention muchlove to  weremagnus who is like, my character design idol...I'm nowhere near her level lol but I tried to take some inspirational cues from her when designing this guy <3 Her stuff is so organic and dynamic and consistent and full of life, I want to work on having some of those things in my designs too!
