This was originally gonna be a traditional badge commission, but since they're both good friends (and I had slightly forgotten about the commission) I decided to go flat out with it. This is the 'portrait' sorta version, there will be a version with his name on it for the badge itself.
I honestly spent WAY too long on this haha, I won't say how long because it's RIDICULOUS, but too long, trust me.

Man sorry I took a bit to comment here, been down in Brighton! Alexey is going to be so fucking happy to see this when he is back from his trip. He will love it :D It turned out really fucking awesome.

UV told me she commssioned you about something, but of course not what it was =P
Sorry for (not conciously) taking up a RIDICULOUS amount of your time for this,
but I think, since he goes a bit out of what you usually draw apperance-wise, you've outdone yourself :)
Especially the markings and the kind of painterly look to it makes it something quite different and original
and also: This is (except for the sheet itself) first real image of Ryuk in his new style! :D
As UV already predicted, I personally love it, especially for the fact of having something personal in your style
and for the fact that I can use this kinda close-up of him now as a lil help for my own anatomy studies ^.^
