Least I got this done, it's a comic strip I had an idea for a couple of months ago, inspired by reading about Easter and the traditions surrounding the holiday in the various Christian denominations. I read about the Orthodox Paschal Greeting, so I knew I had to do something with that in conjunction with Theodora, my Tyrannosaurus character, since I've established her as Greek Orthodox. I envisioned a comic where she gave the greeting to someone at their doorway, only to be revealed that it was early in the morning and the person she talking to was really groggy and had just got up.

Funnily enough, I decided to make the other character the ice dragoness from Gals' Groggy Morning, a drawing I made almost seven years ago. I thought about bringing the characters from that back, since I did like how they look too much to have them be simple one-offs. It was tough trying to look for house architecture, garden landscaping for the sort of houses you see in the Seattle area, and also what sort of dress Theo would be wearing. I settled with a trench coat in reference to how it was forecast to be cool and overcast over there (meanwhile it's sunny and windy here, I don't really like living in the High Desert all that much) and I ended up half-assing what's supposed to be a Rhododendron bush behind her.
