Olivia got convinced into being "an adult", for an hour or two, Joining Ayssa and Iris outside for some Easter Egg fun in the sun. Despite not really wanting to go outside, it's probly for the best Olivia joins them, and tries to work her way through her anxiety. (Anyssa, the best Emotional support dog, And Iris, the Best Attack dog Friendship could buy. Olivia is just an anxiety dog.)
Story:
Easter Had arrived once again, Anyssa had joined Iris in her room, formally Clocks room one day prior, to celebrate the weekend holiday. The promise of getting to actually participate in an "Easter egg hunt", and a "sleep over" had kept her on her best behavior, Making sure not to bother Ashe, or any one else with her usual chaotic activities. All that they needed now, was an "adult".
Scouring the house, iris had returned empty handed, relaying the terrible news to Anyssa. "I couldn't find Clock, or Ashe," Looking down the hallway she began to contemplate on her next course of action. "Clock Said Destiny doesn't count as "an adult"; and Olivia is asleep on the couch."
Anyssa slowly maneuvered herself from the top of the bed, dragging a few sheets onto the floor with her descent, "Is Ms. Rose an adult," she questioned, unsure what would disqualify someone from being an adult. "Maybe Destiny is too short to be considered an adult, So perhaps Ms. Rose Is tall enough?"
Pulled from her slumber through a persistent small claw shaking her arm, Olivia Sat surrounded by a elegantly dressed dog, and a Winged child who seemed to have gotten lost in a laundry basket. Squinting through tired eyes, she moved her head to confirm she was aware of their presence, unaware of what might prompt them to come to her.
"Ms. Rose, are you an adult?" Anyssa asked, wagging her tail excitedly at the potential answer.
Olivia remained still, thinking about what she just got asked. 'Am I an adult?' She ponded as she counted how old she was year by year, making sure she had actually done her math right. 'I'm twenty-five... Damn, I'm old...'
Iris chimed in, wanting to expedite the process, "Clock said we needed an 'adult' if we wanted to go 'Easter Egg Hunting', but Destiny doesn't count as an adult... Can you take us, Please?" A wide toothy smile crept onto her face; if she had a proper tail, it'd be enflamed with hopeful joy. "I don't know where Ashe and Clock are; But you're here!"
Olivia remained confused and motionless; a statue perplexed by the circumstances. "Do you think I'm an adult?" She asked them both, dragging herself off the couch, before resting her upper body on her knees. Two wide eyed children stared back at her, confirming what she dreaded. "Okay, i guess I'm an adult... Don't really feel like one, but that's fine." Standing up, her t-shirt draped over her body, reaching down to her thighs, covering her shorts underneath. "Give me like, five minutes to get ready."
They erupted in cheers, and 'thank you's, before scurrying off to get ready themselves, returning promptly to see Olivia still dressed the same way, slipping her feet into her shoes one at a time. Iris politely shoved a pair of bunny ears into Olivia's face while she was stooped over, struggling with the heel of a shoe, "Anyssa has a hat, so you get to wear the other pair!" As eluded to, there was a pair of cheaply made bunny ears adorning her head, adding to the sheer amount of cute energy she could possibly exude. Anyssa, although just as cute, could not compare to the overly excited death machine choosing to wear a silly hat.
Olivia glanced at the bunny ears one more before taking ahold of them in her finger tips, "I'm only wearing those if you give me half your candy... Costumes come with a fee." Iris smiled the widest she had ever seen, Olivia had underestimated Iris; more so, Iris didn't understand there was candy in the eggs, she just thought they looked pretty. While Olivia had hoped to dissuade her resolve, getting candy out of the deal wasn't so bad. At least she wasn't going to be alone in this one.
