Never really drew rhinos and hippos before, but I had a lot of fun drawing two of the most fun rhino and hippo characters in the fandom! Rocky and Hubert have been around a while, and it's nice to see them still up to their old tricks! Well.. Waffles doesn't seem to agree. haha.

awww well thanks! I'm so glad you like it! It was a fun change, and also the restaurant I like NEVER draw buildings, and was pretty pleased with that one as well haha. I can definitely improve, as I am WAY out of practice but this piece definitely pushed me to do some things out of my comfort zone ;)
awwww thanks so much! Yea I had clean pristine lineart ingrained into me in my character design class. Like literally he would downgrade if it was squiggly at ALL. He made us all pretty much use the pen tool or draw REALLY big as long as we had good steady hands and then scan and shrink it down. Took forever, but made me get quicker at it. hahah And Yesh Waffles is very jealous haha.
LOL! I could see the next panel with Waffles grumbling and suddenly he's covered in shade, the pachyderms blocking out the sun standing over him very angry at his insults and Waffles biting his nails-er-hooves =3
