It hurts being almost 30 and still I haven't met anyone who resulted in a relationship anywhere close to what my fantastical Paul and Leda have, but I also know tomorrow isn't a fixed fate, and by continuing to work through the present, I might get there someday.
However long it takes, and I can lean upon my real friends now, maybe even help others get there themselves.
It just gets so hard surviving now that it gets even harder to remember to keep going.
