Pokébot Model/Serial Numbers
I was working on a thing for myself and figured it might have a wider reach with my other Pokébot friends, sharing it with them it went down alright so now I share with everyone!
Model/Serial Number (how to make and read)
First two numbers are the Pokémon's Generation of First Appearance
01 = Kanto
02 = Jotho
03 = Hoenn
04 = Sinnoh
05 = Unova
06 = Kalos
07 = Alola
08 = Galar
09 = Paldea
10 = etc.
[EX For Lexi it would be 04 as Lucario was introduced in Gen4]
Second two numbers are what specific region said Pokémon is from.
[EX: For Lexi it would be 0407 as a Lucario from Alola]
Variant Classifications:
If a “V:” shows in the model number is indicates that the unit is a variant from the standard model and will indicate what variant it is specifically. If there is no variant it would displayed as V:00.
[EX: Lexi is specifically from a Ultra Sun timeline/version so gets the “V:US”. A Pokémon from the Mystery Dungeon line would get a MD. So a certain Dewott unit might have a model number starting like “05xx-V:MD-xxxxx-xxxx"]
*Take note, this really is just fun/non-cannon thing mostly to show which game one liked best or fully inspired their sona source.
The third set in the line shows a combination of the National Dex and Typing of the Pokémon unit.
[EX: For Lexi, the national pokedex number for Lucario is 448 and is a Fighting/Steel type so it becomes 448FS]
The final set is something anyone can have fun with, but originally, I had the idea of translating names into numbers based on a phone keypad location.
[EX: LEXI = 5394. GLITCH = 454824. EQUI = 3784. VERN = 8376]
So for Lexi, her full model and serial number would read: 0407-V:US-448FS-5394
