Cream was outside playing with Chocola (her Chao) in the garden. Vanilla called her daughter to the kitchen to have afternoon lunch. As Cream happily rushed from the outside garden to see her mom, a large flash of light occured the moment she turned the corner into the kitchen. After the effects of the flash faded, her mom was nowhere in sight. Scared and panicking, Cream called out to her mom. In the next moment, her mom called out to her...at the size of a pebble near her feet. Cream looked down to see her mom shrunken down to size by the flash of light. No sign of Eggman or any of his robots in their vicinity since they're usually in good safety away from him. Both Vanilla and Cream agreed on the real cause of her mom's shrunken dilemma.
Vanilla and Cream: "Tails...".
Tails contacted them before Cream did and explained to them what happened and apologized profusely and assured them that the effects would only be temporarily. Vanilla would very soon return back to size, but it all still didn't surprise her too much that it happened.
