Goooodddddd I LOVE this. It took me so long to realize the sword at his back was there. The impression from a first glance is so different from the impression once you've stared at it a while. Very effective.
I would say that her sword-holding hand looks a bit detached from the fingers. I feel like moving it down just a touch would make it look more connected. Maybe it's the difference in textures, though?

My first observation was 'this looks like a love/hate battle between good/bad.' At which point I couldn't figure out who was good, and who was bad. As both characters seem to blend into the other so far as texture/position/colour. Also, it looks like the male is nothing but tail, and the female... maybe has tail? That was slightly confusing,
Those were the only points I could think of, else wise I think it's redundant to say that it's looking fantastic so far :}

Bei dem Bild. Da mach Ich mir keine Sorgen. Du machst das schon.

my thought was...A lord and his queen of sorts, poised to draw their blades to each others' backs, yet too entrapped in the sensuality of the moment to bring the trap down on the other...so they are locked in an eternal dance, in which neither can let go of the other or they both destroy each other, a forced display of passionate love hiding violent hate that goes on and on.
Then again, I usually like leaving pieces up to open interpretation and just appreciate the aesthetics, and the aesthetics here are amazing beautiful <3

The figures in the background flying solo towards the heavens and the female's poised knife gives the impression that only one will be fit to complete the transformation, the other sacrificed.
The knife at the males back seems like poignant reminder of just how vulnerable love can make us, and how passion can blind one to the point they cannot see any danger. This act of coming together, dropping barriers and taking risks for greater happiness, is what the title of the piece suggests to me.
It is beautiful, dynamic, and thought provoking. If I wanted to sell an epic fantasy novel, this would be on the cover of it.

the fact that Satinar is poised to strike while Nathradas seems to have relaxed his blade speaks volumes to me. This is absolutely stunning so far. Their genders actually only came to me after looking for a long while, the lighting and motion draws you in and makes it unimportant to the overall passion of the piece.
My one critique would echo an above comment, in that his 'tail' seems to meld right into his skin, making it seem as if his lower body just disappears. I'm not sure if this is just an unfinished portion of the work, or if it's intended that way. The contrast is a bit confusing because of the beautifully detailed tail on Satinar. Of course, I suppose he could be mid-shift, which lends a whole new twist to the story. hmm.
either way, loving it!
