Sometimes you work with a character for long enough that they morph completely into something else, to the point where they're unrecognizable from their source material. At that point, you start thinking about how to lean into it, because that's how OCs are made, baby!

Such is the case with Skates here. Skates is a stoner from California. He's the lead singer and guitarist of a rock band he started in highschool, and his dream is to make it big time. He's a fan of horror practical effects, strawberries, and dinosaurs.
