A male Latios who was discovered as a newborn by a human woman named Tiamato-chan, a Dragon-type trainer and raised in captivity. However along his growth under his human mother, Jetto-kun learned how to disguise himself as a human child and grew accustomed to his human identity. However, his mother became terminally ill when she first found him and as a result became near-bedridden. When she could no longer be a trainer, he attained his mother's team of Dragon-type Pokemon who are aware of his true identity, keeping it a family secret.
