this beat has a nice little atmosphere to it, very ambient, with a lot of distant voicings, which is always a deep vibe. ive thought about doing a track that's instrumental and g-funk-y with some turntable sounds.
also, i felt that struggle behind the wheel. i didnt even get my license until last summer despite spending all the time to obtain it at the beginning-ish of covid (being in a driving school class) when i was 16. i didnt have any problems with other drivers or anything, im just a lazy bum

Ironically I passed a written driving course exam in January of 2024, but wasn’t able to get any behind the wheel instruction until October of 2024 because the DMV ‘lost’ my paperwork in the system. I ended up passing the behind the wheel test with flying colors, but failed the first DMV-issued written exam because I didn’t really study for it (keep in mind, it had been almost a year since I had taken the course that this was supposed to be testing me on). I spent about a 3 hours spread out over about a week studying for it, and passed it a week later without any issues.
So, needless to say, my relationship with driving did not get off to a great start.
