While I respect your choice, politics is one big shitshow no matter where you look, I... am not a fan of Trump. His especially recent decisions felt absolutely unnecessary, weird and on the verge of scandal. The meeting with president Zelensky went a totally unprofessional path, things have been said the way they should not have been said. After the meeting, Zelensky basically felt forced to accept Trump's terms; as Trump mentioned, something along the lines: "America steers the world, either you accept our decisions or fuck off". And the massive tax on the imports, causing panic on the market? The heck was -that- supposed to mean??? I almost panicked and raised my comm prices because of USD losing value, but I think he backed out of this nonsense idea, if I'm not mistaken? What he's doing feels like a circus act.
Oh and, he's not really a LGBTQ+ friendly person, either. With some racist remarks spicing it up here and there. Multiple times in his history.
For me, being patriotic means loving the country I was born in, its roots, culture, symbols, natural wonders and people I vibe with. Patriotism does not mean supporting sus people currently leading the country to who knows where.
Research your candidates thoroughly. Pick a lesser evil, as there's no perfect choice, just a little less bullshit to deal with for the next 4 years.
