Although the concept is very different in my setting, Lamont is what would be called a Warforged in the Forgotten Realms. Basically he's a magical robot. He was originally found by the players in a city lost to monsters, and after saving him he helped them with their goals there. He's hundreds of years old. He's also very sassy. At the end of the most recent story arc where the players and the many monster slayers killed the evil emperor Vaxkriss Serkosha, Daumantas had to leave the party to take care of his children, but he asked Lamont to join them in his stead.
