Being her first pregnancy the soon to be mother Anaxia should be nervous and scared. Her kin have long been absent in the snow drift landscape of the Northern Isles. Caves are hard to come by only high in the mountains can they only be found. Though in this snowy wastelands with no trees nor grass cept for the brief 3 week of spring summer and fall, food is a plenty, reasons still unknown ( a lot of them generate their own energy ). Anaxia does find the comfort as two warm paws press against her kit heavy belly. The small arctic drake is all she would need, and later when her kits come they will have a kin again.

My goodness! When you said you were doing a picture with wisty and Anaxia, I never thought it would be from that continuity... Mmm, hehe, this is simply amazing, MPL, and I can't even begin to thank you enough for this. I'm sure Wisty and Anaxia will make looovely parents! <3
Because they don't look like lips, man! They look like flat herbivore teeth!
Maybe I'm over-analyzing, but I think the way you segmented the 'wear marks' (?) on her lips make them look like very large, flat teeth, despite being the same off-white shade as her underbelly.
Also, the segmented wear marks on the lips completely disguise the fact that her upper lip does in fact jut out further than her lower lip; instead it looks like one singular wrap-around piece, like wrapping a piece of tape over your lips (that's a terrible example, but I really can't think of a better one right now).
Maybe if there were fewer 'segmented' parts, then it would look a little more like lips, or if her lips naturally pursed or bulged a little bit more it would offset the segmented appearance they seem to have.
