Roselle, Matriarch of House Artyle
My art drive has been slow as of late but I've been taking some time to craft something here and there when I can, still! Including some lore-based critters important to my settings, this heretofore unmentioned figure for the D'Artyle royal family (whom include the likes of Ren, Raye, and notably Reynald, our Patriarch), the Queen, the Matriarch, Roselle "Rose" D'Artyle. Was also done as a companion piece for a tabletop campaign I'm in, featuring the royal family! And also playing as one of them. ;3
Following this is a bit of a lore write up I've done for Rose! Enjoy and thanks for checking things out!

Considered to be the true face of the Artyle Kingdom and its adventurous spirit, Rose stands out as a figure of innovative wonder and positivity, even to abundantly wild and exciting measures. She has often times been a main figure in the Artyle Kingdom's best innovations and has ensured that it is able to stay stable yet flexible and accommodating for any changes or advances that it may have to take. For that reason, she often times also goes out on expeditions and travels across the lands of Aethrys to interact and learn about the numerous other cultures and civilizations within it, establishing connections and also serving as an ambassador as well, from time to time.
She also has made a hobby for various recreational activities, including that of sports, one of significance being a sport of intense competitive flying disc volleys that she has developed from the kingdom itself, known as Zephyr. Reinterpreting several aspects of the D'Artyle Gunkata Artes' practice measures into that of a recreational game that has been growing in popularity once it has started being more known around and played with. She has been considered a famous athlete for such, and she considers it a way for the kingdom to share its culture around the world as the world shares their own cultures with them. Additionally as part of her strides and support of this, her own way of using her family's unique fighting style fits this; utilizing a uniquely modified flying disk that can return to her like a boomerang, in times of true combat. It's equipped with the ability to magically produce powerfully explosive and mystical effects as it's throw or as it strikes its target(s).
Rose makes sure to spend amble time with her people and family as well, always wanting to make certain she can maintain connections and contact no matter how far she may be. She has been very incredibly welcoming and supportive especially to her children, Raye and Ren, across both of their struggles and discoveries of themselves, and such feelings would also not be lost to her husband, Reynald, as well. As stubbornly headstrong and focused as he is, she also knows well how he has weighed himself down with his past sins, of which she rightfully did not condone of course, and his inability to find peace has left him miserable for the longest time. Seeing this as a chance for him to regain his spark, happiness, and acceptance in self-reflection is something that she will always support and welcome.
...Plus, she finds his new look incredibly adorable and amazingly sweet, no pun intended. She's ecstatic to someday help him explore himself and may or may not look forward to inevitably help him shop around for a new wardrobe, as she has done for Ren and Raye from time to time as well. She finds it cute and flattering and almost a little jealous that he may not even fit in her own borrowed clothes, much to his very flustered expense~
