A really really old piece of mine that I had completely forgotten about, which I don't think is in my gallery here.

The reason the coloring changes so much between the wing and body was because I ended up using two completely different brands of pencil, one had OBVIOUSLY softer "lead".

Oh, well, old art is FREAKING OLD, so I won't complain about it anymore.
