Sketches of my characters Iz and Jaynie except they're younger. In their story Jaynie's age is fixed so that she stops aging at 16 until Iz catches up to her age (Jaynie is 5 years older than Iz). The reason why this is done isn't figured out by Iz at least until later in the series. Plus it would take too long to explain here.
