Original Species: Gigossum
The Gigossum is a massive herbivorous marsupial from the continent of Uluria. As one of the largest known herbivores in the area, it fears almost nothing. Most common predators are too small to take down an adult Gigossum, and youngsters who stray too far from their parents are fair game.
Gigossums are solitary creatures who spend most of their days grazing and wallowing in mud or muddy water, especially on hot summer days. For the most part, they are rather peaceful beasts. However, late in the dry season, when the mating season starts, males will butt heads (literally) for the right to mate with as many females as possible.
The mating season is the only time of the year when large groups of these marsupials gather in a single location.
