I've done stern before, but this is my first go at an angry expression in a fursuit.
I changed the nose since the last pic - although the other one was more correct, it said too much 'cat' when I wanted more 'bear'.

well a real one is pretty damn durable and light weight, if you mean the greens/leaves though Joanns fabrics and crafts had some that were rubbery plastic vs fabric (I have not been there in a while, and the one by me has a huge fake floral section, so results may vary by location, lol)
Is this for a particular client? This is a beautifully constructed head, especially the eyes and nose; but I think the reason people are saying it looks like a dog is because the ears and eye spots are so big. If that matches the client's character, though, it'd make sense. =)
I hate to say it but I am going to be honest: it really doesn't look panda like to me at all other than the markings. Pandas do not look like brown bears or polar bears or any other bears for that matter. They have triangle shaped noses, their ears are located in a different location, and their muzzles are a different shape. (more wide, flat, and short.) Actually right now it looks almost like it could be a red panda/giant panda hybrid. XD Or a black bear/panda hybrid.
It's nice work, as always, I just want to be honest. :X

That's all fine. And if it were a commission I promise I'd be closer on target to the species. But, as is, it's just a simple suit for a personal project and the actual species is far less important than making it fit the look I want/time deadline I have. The bear influences are intentional and continue through the rest of the suit.
