Well, it was pretty much required, wasn't it?
This one was done entirely with markers over light pencil lines. I'd be very interested in critiques of it -- I'm trying to develop new skills. :) I'm interested both in how it works as stand-alone art, as well as how it works as a pic in MLP style.

I'd have to look at Episode 1, Part 2, to really compare your lion to the manticore, to see how close they are in design, but from a general standpoint, who cares about all that nitpicky stuff, it's PONIES times!
